Special Needs Cats

Adopting a cat with special needs is a big responsibility. It takes a dedicated human who is willing to put lots of time and love into caring for their pet. However, providing a special needs cat with a forever home can be an extremely rewarding experience.

Foster and Forever currently has several special needs cat in rescue. See below for more information!

Rocky | Between 8-10 years old | FIV+

Rocky has endured a lot during his lifetime. He spent many years living outside where he unfortunately suffered injuries after being attacked by other cats. He will need a patient, understanding human who is willing to give Rocky time to grow his confidence and trust. Because of his past and FIV+ status, Rocky needs to be the only cat in his forever home.

Delmar | About 1.5 years old | Radial Agenesis

Delmar was born without the radial bones in her two front legs, but this has not prevented her from living her life to the fullest. Delmar is still able to run, jump, play, and go up the stairs just like any other cat! She loves being pet and getting belly rubs, and will purr like crazy. Delmar would do best in a quiet home with other calm cats.

Josie | 2 years old | Eye condition

When Josie was a kitten, she suffered a traumatic injury to her right eye. However, this hasn’t slowed her down one bit! Josie is a feisty, silly girl who loves playing with toys and other cats. To manage her condition, Josie needs to take daily eye drops. She would do best in a calm household as she can be skittish around people and loud noises.
